1. Introduction
AnyInbox (“AnyInbox,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), including when you use hosted email addresses we provide or receive messages addressed to those addresses.
By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Hosted addresses, mail content, and visibility
When email is sent to an address we host, we receive, process, and store the message and associated metadata (such as headers and routing information) so we can deliver it to the product and display it to users who are permitted to access that inbox under our rules. Depending on the address, whether a suffix is claimed, and how the product is configured, mail may be visible only to the account that owns the claim, or it may be accessible more broadly (for example, where an inbox is public or shared). Do not send sensitive information to a hosted address unless you understand who may be able to view it.
Anyone who can open that inbox in the app—including, where applicable, other visitors if the inbox is public or shared—may be able to read messages sent to it. We are not responsible for what third parties choose to send you or how they protect content in transit before it reaches us.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account data: Name, email, business details, and credentials when you register or update your profile.
- Connected accounts: When you connect third-party services (for example, Google Business Profile), we receive identifiers and content needed to provide review monitoring and reply features, as permitted by you and those services.
- Content and settings: Information you enter or configure in the product, including preferences for hosted addresses and suffix claims.
- Email we host for you: Messages sent to addresses on our domains, including message bodies, attachments when stored, and headers needed to deliver and display mail in the app.
- Communications: Messages you send us via email, in-app support, or other channels.
3.2 Automatically collected information
- Device and log data: IP address, browser or app version, device identifiers, and diagnostic logs.
- Usage data: Features used and interaction patterns, often in aggregated or pseudonymous form.
- Cookies and similar technologies: As described in Section 10.
4. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and secure our systems
- Receive, store, index, and display email sent to hosted addresses you use or that are associated with your account
- Communicate about updates, support, and safety notices
- Comply with law and enforce our agreements
- Analyze usage in aggregated or de-identified form to improve the product
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not sell your email address or your contact list to data brokers or marketers. We may use service providers to send transactional email (such as account notices) and to operate our infrastructure; they process data on our instructions as described in Section 5.
5. How we share information
5.1 Service providers
We share information with vendors who help us operate the Services—such as cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, AI inference, and customer support tools. They process data on our instructions and subject to confidentiality and security obligations.
5.2 Legal and safety
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of AnyInbox, our users, or the public.
5.3 Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice where required by law.
6. Google sign-in and limited use
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares certain account and profile information with us as shown in the Google consent screen. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: we use this data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in our app; we do not sell it; and we do not use it for serving ads. Human access is limited to security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or with your agreement, as permitted by that policy.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
8. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information. Contact us using the information below; we may verify your identity before responding.
10. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and measure site performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
11. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
12. Third-party links
The Services may link to third-party sites or platforms (including review platforms). Their practices are governed by their own policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date.
